Tar River Writers Guild
We write stuff.
The Tar River Writers Guild borrows its name from the Tar River that runs from the piedmont to the coastal plains of North Carolina. The Guild supports and encourages writers of all forms, genres, perspectives, and levels of expertise. New members are always welcome. For the latest news on meetings, events, local contests, and other opportunities for writers, or to just talk about writing, join us on Facebook and subscribe to our newsletter/communiqué!
The Guild also publishes a yearly literary journal, County Lines: A Literary Journal. Submit your work for possible publication. For more information, visit our submissions page.

The Tar River Writers Guild meets at 2PM on the second Saturday of every other month for a brief business meeting, networking, and discussion about writing in general. Meeting location TBA!
